ADOLESCENT EDUCATION

We offer teen education regarding:

• decision-making and communicating with parents
• date rape
• facts on birth control, anatomy, and basic reproductive health care
• postponing sexual involvement / abstinence
• STD / HIV risks
• self breast exam
• how to use a condom

FAMILY INVOLVEMENT

Central Health Center helps parents understand their own feelings and values about sexuality, and helps them to communicate with their children about feelings and changing sexuality. We also provide information designed for preteens and younger children for use by parents.

COMMUNITY EDUCATION

We have resources available for group and individual use that include:

• Health Educators are trained in presenting information on our Agency Services, Reproductive Life Planning, STI/STD/HIV, Contraceptive Methods and Decision Making. We provide services to the community such as schools, churches and human service organizations.
